Nuaire Builds Clever Homes
The Clever Homes scheme (Comfortable Living Environment & Energy Reducing Homes), delivered by the by the Northern Ireland Energy Agency and Sustainable Energy Ireland is a partnership scheme which both improves the health and quality of life for households. Using solar ventilation technology, it enhances air quality, tackles condensation and reduces energy consumption and therefore reduces bills. This project brings renewable technology to sections of the population which otherwise would be unable to afford it, having a positive effect on some of the least well off in our community. It is primarily funded by the European Union and a range of other funders. To date over 60 Sunwarm Tile systems and 60 Sunwarms have been installed in the Clever Homes energy efficiency scheme in order to improve indoor air quality and potentially reduce energy demands. The results to date have been outstanding and the documentary style DVD that was produced of interviews with clients, designers and tenants is a positive independent assessment of Sunwarm. You can view the video on the Nuaire web site: http://www.nuaire.co.uk/cleverhomesvideo
Nuaire Goes Even Greener
Following a recent Environmental Management System (EMS) audit, carried out by Arena Network, Nuaire has achieved the Green Dragon Environmental Management Standard Level 4. Green Dragon is all about making a commitment to environmental management. Following an application to UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service), the Green Dragon Scheme has gained official recognition as an Environmental Management System (EMS) which meets the requirements for accreditation under the International Standard ISO 17020. There are 977 organisations of all shapes and sizes that have already made the commitment; Nuaire is one of 34 organisations in Wales to achieve level 4 or higher. Nuaire details appear on the Green Dragon register of certified companies. The register is a resource that can be used by our customers to verify the environmental credentials of their suppliers and by participating organisations to network and share knowledge and experiences. If you would like more information on Green Dragon, take a look at their website http://www.greendragonems.com/
Hevar London
Our Southern team made sure that our stands were a fantastic success during London Hevar with the largest attendance on the stands ever. Nuaire dominated the show and at the end of the first day our stands were barely visible due to the amount of visitors. The after show party was a great hit with over one hundred customers enjoying a Vegas themed evening with casino and an Elvis look-alike to entertain onlookers. Brian Brewis from Boygues UK won the two flights to Vegas which he then donated to a child hospice in Essex.
Nuaire Home Ventilation Ireland Move Into New Premises
Nuaire Home Ventilation Ireland recently moved into new premises at Enterprise Crescent in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Nuaire Home Ventilation Ireland is the all Ireland distributor for Nuaire’s range of energy efficient, innovative home ventilation products. The new office area, including a new showroom is approximately 160 m˛. The exhibition area is currently being refurbished in time for the first open evening which is planned for 12 December with over 50 architects and M & E Consultants invited. Guests will be given a presentation to explain in detail the features and benefits of our products and a tour of the show room. This will be followed by a buffet and a chance to have a more personal chat with the Home Ventilation team to discuss in more detail individual project requirements. Guests will also be entered for a luxury spa weekend draw.
Nuaire Customer Centre
The new Nuaire customer centre opened its doors for the first time in mid November. The state of the art showroom is worthy of demonstrating the range of Nuaire products - with live systems (Sunwarm, Constant Pressure, Ecosmart Airmover), four demonstration LCD screens showing our latest 3-d animations and a dedicated Renewables area for our Sunwarm range. Our presentation suite boasts a floor to ceiling media wall with fixed internal screen and integrated sound system and can seat up to 30 people at any one time. We look forward to welcoming you and showing you round in the not to distant future.
Car Park Impulse Fan
We have recently introduced a new low depth, high performance, centrifugal fan to compliment our Axus impulse car park fan range. A full design service is available for the impulse fan, from concept to completion which includes design, co-ordination, manufacture, installation and commissioning.
Genie XH/XH12
The Genie XH is a continuously running extract fan with boost via integral adjustable humidistat. It has been developed for Local Authorities who have a specific need for a constant running extract fan with boost facility for Decent Homes Projects.
Cooker Hood
The new 60 cm stainless steel cooker hood has a push button control which illuminates the cooking area and provides a switched live signal to trigger the boost function on a fan or to open a damper. Fitted with two washable metallic grease filters for quick and easy maintenance it also has 2 lights and a 3 year warranty.
CookerXbox
As part of our extensive heat recovery range the new CookerXbox is ideal for homes and apartments, either located on a kitchen wall or, thanks to its slim line profile, sitting behind a cupboard door. Recovering heat generated when cooking and supplying warm air into dwellings the CookerXbox is from 66% effective and complies with new build “best practice” rating in GPG 268. Ducting connections are flexible with a choice between either sides of top. Side connections are used to enable the ducting to run across the top of kitchen wall units enabling it to be as unobtrusive as possible. With 4 speed setting and an automatic boost facility (the thermostat senses air temp and boosts when required) the unit also has front and underneath panels which enables quick and easy access to the condensate drain and electrical supply.
Sunwarm User Control Panel
The old analogue user control has been replaced with a new improved, digital display model. The analogue user control with a dial going from red to blue was easy to use however, there was no indication that the system was working and if so, what it was doing. The new user controls provides basic data as well as now serving as a commissioning tool. The principle is that the digital display will show house temperature, solar temperature, water tank temperature, and outside temperature. The other main advantage is that the air flow can be adjusted automatically to a lower level when there is not enough solar energy available. There is a choice of this adjustment happening automatically or manually via setting a timer function.
